Do you ever wish you could actually see what you look like on the inside? The human body is incredibly complex and beautiful. Each part fits together perfectly with the others and allows us to live our lives the way we do. Well, if you’re curious about how that looks inside, you have an opportunity to see just that. The world-famous BODIES Exhibit is in the Luxor Hotel and Casino. It features thirteen whole-body specimens, along with more than 260 organs and other body parts, to show you exactly what you look like underneath your skin.
This exhibit is a great chance for you to see just how incredible the feet are. You’ll be able to see all of the bones, connective tissues, muscles, and nerves, along with how they actually fit together. A quarter of all the bones in your body are in your feet, working together to hold you up. Those bones are held together and moved around by more than 100 muscles, tendons, and ligaments. In every area you have nerves relaying messages to and from the brain, and blood vessels bringing oxygen and nutrients to all the other tissues. All of that works together – without your consciously realizing it – to allow you to move around and do the activities you love.
